This is a research work at maths won the Ig Nobel Prize.
The Ig Nobel Prizes, which are handed out annually at Harvard University by actual Nobel Prize laureates, were founded in 1990 in order to recognize scientific research that "first makes you laugh, then makes you think." Conducted under the auspices of the scientific humor magazine "Annals of Improbable Research," the awards are intended to "celebrate the unusual, honor the imaginative and spur people's interest in science, medicine, and technology."

Winners of the 14th annual Ig Nobels in 2004 included the inventor of karaoke, the engineers who devised the "combover" hairdo, a girl who investigated the "five-second rule" commonthly applied to dropped food, and researchers who discoverd a connection between country music and suiside.
